Wegbeschreibung

An easy karst walk from the village of Silica to the gaping ice abyss of Silicka ladnica, the lowest permanent ice cave in the temperate zone. A viewing platform looks into the collapsed cavern mouth where ice survives all summer. The surrounding Silica plateau is part of the UNESCO listed Slovak Karst.
