Deir el-Bahari to Valley of the Kings Walk

This classic Theban walk crosses the desert hills from the temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari over to the Valley of the Kings. The steep path climbs the cliff behind the temple to a high saddle with sweeping views over the west bank and the Nile. It follows the same route ancient tomb workers used between the two sites.
