Rosetta, or Rashid, is a Delta port town famous as the find spot of the Rosetta Stone and its handsome Ottoman-era merchant houses. This walk explores the brick facades and old mosques near where the Nile meets the sea. It preserves one of Egypt's finest concentrations of Islamic domestic architecture.
