Kakita River Spring Walk

A walk along the Kakita river near Mishima in Shizuoka, one of the clearest spring-fed rivers in Japan, welling up from Mount Fuji snowmelt. The path follows boardwalks and banks past pools of astonishing clarity and lush water plants. It is flat, cool and green.
