Kumano Kodo Nakahechi

Descripción del sendero

The main pilgrimage route across the Kii Peninsula, linking sacred shrines through steep, forested mountains. Walkers pass moss covered oji shrines, teahouse ruins and cedar groves on the way to the grand Kumano Hongu Taisha. Usually done over two or three days, staying in villages along the trail.
