Yamadera Risshaku-ji

Descripción del sendero

A famous mountain temple in Yamagata reached by climbing roughly a thousand stone steps through cedar forest and moss-covered rocks. The poet Basho wrote here, and the Godaido hall at the top offers a sweeping view over the valley. The ascent is short but steep and deeply atmospheric.
