Descripción del sendero

The climb up the sleeping woman volcano, the third highest peak in Mexico, from the La Joya trailhead. The route follows the ridge of the reclining figure past shelters and a small glacier to the summit above 5,200 metres. A serious high altitude mountaineering day facing its neighbour Popocatepetl.
