A gentle loop through the tiny village of Idanha-a-Velha, layered with Roman, Visigothic and medieval ruins beside the Ponsul river. The path passes the old cathedral, city walls and olive groves in a peaceful rural setting. Flat and deeply historic, a living archaeological site.
