Pico do Ferro to Furnas Lake

A forest descent on Sao Miguel from the panoramic Pico do Ferro viewpoint down to the shore of the Furnas lake. The path drops through laurel and cryptomeria with the crater lake and its steaming fumaroles spread below. Green and scenic, an easy Azorean classic.
