A climb to Sneznik, the highest non-alpine peak in Slovenia, rising alone above vast forests near the Croatian border. The path ascends through beech and spruce to open limestone meadows and a broad summit with a mountain lodge and huge views. A rewarding walk in a remote and wild landscape.
