A flat walk through one of the holiest pilgrimage towns in Sri Lanka, sacred to Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims alike. The route crosses the Menik Ganga to the temple precinct and the white Kiri Vehera stupa under shade trees. A serene and colourful cultural stroll in the deep south.
