Descripción del sendero

The trail climbs out of the forest onto the western rim of the Shira Plateau through zones of tall heather. Wide open views of the plateau and Kibo unfold as the vegetation thins. Shira 1 Camp sits on the grassy caldera at around 3500 metres.
