Wadi Arbaein, the Valley of the Forty, is a fertile Bedouin valley in the high mountains near Saint Catherine's Monastery. The trail follows the wadi past walled gardens and orchards toward the granite peaks. It is a beautiful and lesser-known corner of the Sinai high massif.
