A walk up through the old town of Herceg Novi to the Kanli Kula, the great Ottoman fortress crowning the hill. Stepped lanes climb past churches and squares to the bloody tower with its open-air stage. Fine views spread over the rooftops and the mouth of the Bay of Kotor.
