Tevno Lake Pirin

The Dark Lake, the highest large tarn in the Pirin at 2512 m, cradled in a stone amphitheatre on the main ridge. The route from the Bezbog hut passes Popovo lake before climbing the Kralev Dvor saddle. A tiny shelter by the water is a legendary overnight stop on the ridge traverse.
