Small Makhtesh Rim Trail

A trail into the Small Makhtesh, a deep erosion crater in the northern Negev ringed by steep coloured cliffs. The route drops through the rim into the sandy floor scattered with mineral hills. It is a quieter alternative to the great crater at Mitzpe Ramon.
