Namsan Gyeongju

A sacred hill on the southern edge of Gyeongju, scattered with hundreds of ancient Buddhist carvings, pagodas and temple ruins from the Silla kingdom. Forest paths climb past rock reliefs to airy lookouts. An open air museum and one of Korea's great cultural walks.
