Seredzius Palemonas Mound

A short climb to the Seredzius hillfort, known as Palemonas Mound, above the Nemunas near its meeting with the Dubysa. Legend ties the hill to the mythical founder of Lithuania, and its crown gives a wide view over the river valley. A brief, storied walk in the Nemunas lowlands.
