A walk through the old city of Najaf to the shrine of Imam Ali with its dazzling golden dome. The bazaars around the sanctuary lead on toward the vast Wadi al Salam, one of the largest cemeteries in the world. A centre of pilgrimage and learning for Shia Muslims.
