Manana Trail

From the end of Komo Mai Drive in Pacific Palisades on O'ahu the trail follows a long ridge over many small, steep knobs to the Ko'olau summit, starting in eucalyptus and pines and passing into native rain forest with 'ohi'a, koa and tree ferns. The second half is not regularly maintained and is narrow and muddy, so it suits experienced hikers. Hunting is allowed in the area, so wear bright clothing and stay on the trail.
