A ridge walk along the Kolovrat above Kobarid, an open-air museum of First World War trenches carved into the crest on the Italian border. The path follows the grassy ridge past restored positions with sweeping views over the Soca valley and the Julian Alps. Easy and deeply historical, one of the finest front-line walks in the region.
