Al-Muizz Street is an open-air museum of medieval Islamic architecture running through the heart of Fatimid Cairo. The pedestrian route passes mosques, madrasas, sabils and merchant houses between the great gates of Bab al-Futuh and Bab Zuweila. It is one of the richest concentrations of historic monuments in the Islamic world.
