Kandanos to Anisaraki

A walk in the Selino region of western Crete from the town of Kandanos to the hamlet of Anisaraki, scattered with tiny frescoed Byzantine churches. Several fourteenth century chapels stand among the olive groves along the way. The green valley is one of the richest in medieval painting on the island.
