A walk through the ancient Macedonian capital of Aigai at Vergina, from the great tumulus of the royal tombs to the ruined palace and theatre. The tomb of Philip the Second, father of Alexander, was found here with its golden treasures. Paths cross the archaeological park at the foot of the hills.
