A steep descent into the amphitheatre of Tumpak Sewu, a vast curtain of falls dropping into a jungle gorge in east Java. Bamboo ladders and slippery paths lead to the river below with Semeru towering behind. Often called the most spectacular waterfall in Indonesia.
