Glendalough Spinc

A loop high above the glacial valley of Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains, past an old monastic site. Boardwalk and stone steps climb to the Spinc ridge with a stunning view down over the two dark lakes. Popular but strenuous, ending back among the ancient round tower and ruins.
