A Judean Desert wadi descending toward the Dead Sea north of the Ein Gedi road, threaded with dry waterfalls fitted with iron rungs and handholds. The route drops through a narrow gorge of pale limestone with wide desert views. It is a favourite half-day scramble from the Jerusalem area.
