A riverside walk along the Iwadatami rock shelves at Nagatoro in Chichibu, where the Arakawa river runs over broad flat slabs of stone. The path follows the bank past the rock platforms where pleasure boats drift downstream. It is easy and popular, framed by wooded cliffs.
