A walk up the grand approach to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, the great shrine at the heart of Kamakura in Kanagawa. The route follows the cherry and azalea causeway through three torii to the hilltop shrine and its lotus ponds. It is flat, ceremonial and historic.
