Yasaka Shrine Maruyama Park Walk

A walk from Yasaka shrine at the foot of the Higashiyama hills in Kyoto into the adjoining Maruyama park. The path passes the vermilion shrine and a famous weeping cherry to wooded ponds and the great Chion-in gate. It is flat and lovely in blossom season.
