A walk through the New Castle park to the ruins of the old Sigulda castle of the Livonian Order on the edge of the Gauja valley. The stone walls and open air stage sit on a bluff with a viewing platform looking across to Turaida and Krimulda. An easy town walk that anchors the Sigulda trail network.
