Afqa Grotto and Waterfall Walk

A short walk to the source of the Nahr Ibrahim at the Afqa grotto, where water bursts from a great cave beneath towering cliffs. The site was sacred to Adonis and Astarte in antiquity with ruins of a Roman temple nearby. The falls are strongest in spring.
