Triglav via Vrata Valley

The ascent of Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia and the symbol of the nation, from the wild Vrata valley. The route climbs the huge north side on the Tominsek path with steel cables and pegs on the exposed upper rock. A serious, long mountain day usually broken with a night at a hut.
