Pennine Way: Byrness to Kirk Yetholm

The final and longest stage of the Pennine Way crosses the wild and remote Cheviot ridge along the England-Scotland border. The route follows the watershed over open moorland with mountain refuge huts before descending to Kirk Yetholm. A tough and committing hill day.
