A classic Desolation Wilderness hike from Echo Lakes to the broad granite basin holding Lake Aloha. The trail traces the shore of the Echo Lakes then climbs gently past several tarns to the shimmering waters dotted with rocky islands. Peaks of the Crystal Range form a stunning backdrop.
