A classic Hautes Fagnes walk starting at the old Baraque Michel chapel and inn, one of the oldest landmarks on the plateau. Boardwalks lead out across open bog toward the Fagne Wallonne with its dark peat channels. The chapel bell once guided travellers lost in the fog.
