Gormire Lake and Sutton Bank

A varied circuit combining the dramatic escarpment of Sutton Bank with the hidden glacial lake of Gormire below. The path descends through woodland to the still lake then climbs back to the famous viewpoint over the Vale of Mowbray. A classic North York Moors walk.
