Trail Description

A demanding climb from Dove Lake to the summit of Cradle Mountain, ending in a boulder scramble over huge dolerite blocks. The route passes alpine tarns and the flank of the mountain with wide views over the Tasmanian wilderness. A long day out, and the weather can turn quickly on the tops.
