Trail Description

A walk to the Fondry des Chiens near Nismes, a dramatic natural chasm carved into pink limestone in the Viroin valley. Dry grassland rich in orchids and juniper surrounds the pit that plunges far below the rim. The Calestienne region shows its wildest karst face here.
