Trail Description

A stroll among the Stone Forest west of Varna, hollow limestone columns up to 6 m tall formed on the floor of an ancient sea 50 million years ago. Sandy paths wind between the pillar groups and rare steppe plants. The strangest natural monument in Bulgaria, and its easiest walk.
