Trail Description
The marble crown of the Pirin at 2914 m, the second highest summit in Bulgaria, climbed from the Vihren hut past the great karst bowl of the Golyam Kazan. The main trail is steep scree but requires no climbing. Edelweiss grows on the marble ledges above the Kazan cliffs where Balkan chamois roam.
