Trail Description

A stepped climb over the Sword Gate Pass of Jianmenguan in northern Sichuan, a dramatic cleft in a wall of cliffs on the ancient road to Shu. The path rises past the fortress gate and clifftop walkways with airy views. A historic and rugged mountain walk.
