Trail Description

A stepped pilgrim climb on Kongtong Mountain near Pingliang in Gansu, a cradle of Taoism crowned with temples. The stone stairway rises past halls and cliffs to the forested summit ridges. A revered and atmospheric ascent in the Loess highlands.
