Trail Description

The climb to Matokit above the town of Vrgorac in the Dalmatian hinterland behind Biokovo. The trail rises past the old fortress through scrub to a summit chapel with a wide view over the karst fields and the mountains. A quiet and historic ascent inland from the Makarska coast.
