Trail Description

The Ramesseum is the ruined mortuary temple of Ramesses II on the Luxor west bank, home to the toppled colossus that inspired the poem Ozymandias. This gentle walk explores the fallen statues and standing columns among the fields. It is a quieter, atmospheric corner of the Theban necropolis.
