Trail Description

A walk in Epirus to the Nekromanteion, the ancient oracle of the dead where pilgrims came to speak with departed souls. The ruins stand where the Acheron river once met the marshy Acherousian lake. The river of the underworld flows out to the sea at Ammoudia nearby.
