Trail Description

A walk through the old upper town of Thessaloniki along the Byzantine walls to the Heptapyrgion fortress and the Trigonio tower. The steep lanes of Ano Poli survived the great fire with their timber Ottoman houses. Wide views open over the city and the Thermaic gulf.
