Trail Description

A walk across the high Lasithi plateau in eastern Crete between the villages of Tzermiado and Psychro. The flat green basin ringed by mountains is dotted with old stone windmills once used to draw water. Psychro sits below the Diktean cave where Zeus was said to be born.
