Trail Description

A dizzying old cobbled staircase in Zagori zigzagging up a sheer cliff between Kapesovo and the remote village of Vradeto. For centuries the Skala Vradetou steps were the only link to the outside world for the highest village in the region. The masonry switchbacks are a marvel of mountain engineering.
