Trail Description
A walk around Amedi, the ancient town of Amadiya perched on a flat topped mesa with cliffs falling away on every side. Narrow lanes lead past the old Zebar gate, a lone minaret and the carved Mosul gate to viewpoints over the surrounding valleys. Legend names it as a home of the Magi who followed the star.
